The hotel is family-owned and has a great two-star standard. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with good AC and reliable Wi-Fi. I highly recommend this hotel for its friendly service and convenient amenities.

What a pleasant surprise! We stayed at a hotel during Christmas and it exceeded our expectations. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, with spacious and cozy beds. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, even accommodating our late check-in. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the town center, but in a quiet area away from the noise. We also loved the fact that there were plenty of restaurants and bars nearby to explore. Plus, the free wifi was a great bonus!

Although the hotel was fantastic overall, there were a couple of drawbacks. The rooms were on the smaller side and lacked a view, which was a bit disappointing.

They were accommodating with our late check-in and arranged everything for us to stay an additional night without having to change rooms. The staff also helped us get breakfast early in the morning before we had to leave. We were given a key to the main door entrance, allowing us to come and go as we pleased. the service provided by Christina, Sarah, and Elizabeth was fantastic.

They were always willing to help and provided excellent service. Location - the hotel is conveniently located close to the city center, making it easy to explore and visit local attractions. there was plenty of free street parking available around the hotel, which was a bonus.- Cleanliness - the hotel was spotless and well-maintained. The rooms were cleaned daily, and the overall cleanliness of the hotel was impressive.

It was slow and unreliable, often dropping or not working at all. This was quite frustrating, especially when trying to stay connected or get work done.

The staff at Residencial D. Joao III were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Our room was large, comfortable, and cleaned everyday. The location was perfect for exploring Ponta Delgada on foot and the rest of the island by car with plenty of free parking nearby. Although we couldn't access WiFi in our room, we were able to enjoy it during breakfast or in the reception area.
